Start with a clean bottle
Choose a one-litre bottle with a wide opening and a cap that closes securely. A funnel makes the work easier and prevents spills. Put a large label on the bottle immediately with the name, date and the words: “For sealed tiles only.” Preferably use a bottle that has never held food or drink.
Add everything in the right order
Pour the vinegar into the bottle first and add the isopropyl alcohol slowly. Measure the dishwashing liquid accurately and add it last so the blend does not foam unnecessarily. Drop the lemon and eucalyptus oils over the top. Close the cap and roll the bottle gently between your hands. Do not shake it hard; gentle movement keeps foam low and helps you see the contents easily. The simple sequence makes every step easy to remember.
Use a light hand
Work in small areas instead of trying to do the whole room at once. Apply a small amount to a clean mop head or cloth, start at the far corner and move back towards the door. Give greasy marks a second gentle wipe rather than pouring on more product. A dirty mop only spreads old dirt. Let the floor dry afterwards and keep children and pets away until the surface no longer feels slippery.

Know your floor’s limits
Test the blend on a hidden tile first and look again the next day. Do not use it on marble, granite, travertine, limestone, unsealed wood, waxed floors or laminate. If your floor manufacturer specifies a particular product, follow that instruction. Do not add bleach, ammonia, toilet cleaner, lemon juice or any other cleaning product to this bottle. A stronger smell does not necessarily mean a cleaner floor.
Store it wisely
Keep the bottle upright, tightly closed, cool and out of direct sunlight. The alcohol makes the blend flammable; store it away from stovetops, heaters, candles and cigarettes. Work with good airflow and use gloves if your hands are sensitive. Discard any product that changes colour, smells strange or begins to separate.
Try it today
Choose one small tiled floor, read the label, test a hidden spot and clean one section. Notice how much product you use; a small amount should be enough. Write the mixing date on the label and decide whether the scent suits your home. If the surface looks dull, sticky or stained, stop and use the recommended method. The purpose is simple: one bottle, five liquid ingredients and calm movements.
